Welcome to Cali, the sports city of the world

The World Athletics U20 Championships Cali 22 brings together the best U20 athletes in Santiago de Cali, Colombia, from 1-6 August. We are thrilled to welcome the sport's stars and their federations once again.

 Cali is preparing for this great encounter. We will have a wonderful stadium for competition, prepared to receive more than 1500 athletes from all continents – as we have previously done for the 2015 World Athletics U18 Championships – in a cultural, technological, athletic and social environment.

We want to thank the Colombian National Government, the Ministry of Sports, the Government of Valle del Cauca, the City Hall of Santiago de Cali, the Colombian Olympic Committee and the Colombian Athletics Federation. Without them, the event would not be possible.
